Nanded, July 24 -- Workers affiliated with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) allegedly assaulted a Hindi-speaking sanitation attendant at Nanded's state transport bus depot Wednesday, reigniting concerns over linguistic vigilantism.
The incident occurred after the worker, stationed outside women's restrooms, reportedly declined to respond in Marathi during an initial confrontation.
