Ahilyanagar (Maharashtra), Sept. 18 -- Legislative Council chairman Ram Shinde has instructed the revenue, agriculture and water conservation departments to complete the 'panchnama' of damage in Karjat and Jamkhed talukas affected by heavy rains within two days and submit a report to the government through the district collector, said an official today.

Shinde said he will ensure necessary assistance is provided from the state government to the affected areas.

Chairman Shinde conducted an extensive visit to the villages of Nagalwadi, Nagpur, Shirpur, Nimbodi, Tardgaon, Malthan in Karjat taluka and Chaundi in Jamkhed taluka to personally inspect the damage caused by heavy rains.
