Kolhapur / Sindhudurg, May 22 -- Heavy pre-monsoon showers lashing the Sindhudurg district over past few days triggered a landslide in Amboli Ghat section on Amboli-Goa road on Thursday.
However, there was no reported casualty in this incident.
Due to heavy rainfall over last few days, a landslide occurred near site of famous waterfall in Amboli Ghat, hampering the movement of vehicular traffic on the Amboli-Goa road.
Due to landslide, an ambulance carrying a patient was stuck for some time but the passers-by came to its help, moved aside large stones lying on the road and made way for the ambulance.
Meanwhile, due to incessant rains, the Amboli waterfall has been flowing in its splendor just like during monsoon months of July-August....
