Kolhapur, June 26 -- Angry over usage of unlicensed 'Kolhapuri Chappal' in a fashion show in Italy on June 23 by Prada company, city's cobblers today demanded to take stern action against the company.
A delegation of city's cobblers, led by Krushnkant Mahadik, a youth icon and son of Rajya Sabha MP Dhananjay Mahadik, met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai today and requested him to take stern action against the Prada International company for using unlicensed 'Kolhapuri Chappal' in a fashion show without any mention of 'Kolhapuri'.
