Mumbai, May 8 -- Thane police have busted a fake currency racket allegedly operating from the office of a transport company in Bhiwandi town of Maharashtra's Thane district by arresting six people, an official said on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime) Amarsingh Jadhav said that police have seized fake Indian currency notes with a face value of more than Rs 45 lakh and arrested six people while the counterfeit notes were being printed at the office of a transport company in Bhiwandi town.
