Nashik, Aug. 7 -- A couple committed suicide under the running railway yesterday late evening near Ghoti village in Igaturi taluka of the district.
The incident took place at around 7:45 pm yesterday.
According to Ghoti police, the victims are identified as Dinesh Devidas Sawant (38) and Vishakha Dinesh Sawant (33), residents of Sudhanagar in Ghoti city.
On yesterday evening, Dinesh and his wife, Vishakha Sawant, ended their lives by jumping on a running train on the railway track from Nashik to Igatpuri. Devidas Devaji Sawant informed the Ghoti police about the incident.
