Nagpur, Nov. 5 -- Bones and ashes of two recently cremated individuals mysteriously vanished from a local cremation ground, police said on Wednesday, shaking residents of Umred taluka near here.
The final rites of 23-year-old Sakshi Patil of Balaji Nagar, Umred, who died of a heart attack and 48-year-old Naresh Duryodhan Selote, a Parsodi resident who passed away due to illness on November 2, were conducted at a crematorium located near the national highway at Bhiwapur in Umred on Monday.
Relatives returned the following morning to collect the ashes and skeletal remains, only to find that both had inexplicably disappeared.
