Amravati, Jan. 11 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ended its alliance with MLA Ravi Rana's Yuva Swabhiman Party ahead of the January 15 Amravati Municipal Corporation elections, sources said.
Confirming the development, Amravati BJP district president Nitin Dhande stated today that the party had withdrawn its support from the six seats that were earlier allotted to Rana's party.
He said the BJP would instead extend support to independent candidates who are ideologically aligned with the party.
