Kolhapur/Satara, March 11 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials from the Satara division arrested three suspects, including a president of Chandrahar Patil Rural Education Institutions, a library clerk and a private agent, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh from a complainant in exchange for facilitating a promotion to the position of professor in a college.

The Arrested individuals include Ajit Ramchandra Patil, 59, who serves as the president of Chandrahar Patil Rural Education Institutions; Anil Sadashiv Gujar, 42, a library clerk; and Ravindra Ganpati Pawar, 36, a private agent.
