Chandrapur, March 29 -- In a remarkable display of unity and coordination, as many as 1,381 students from an institute in Maharashtra's Chandrapur came together on Saturday to create a giant human formation depicting a 'peace sign', claiming it as a new world record.

The formation was organised by Somayya Group of Institutions, operated by Maharashtra Shikshan Prasarak Mandal.

Maharashtra's Guinness World Records representative, Swapnil Dangarikar, was present on the occasion.

According to the organisers, the large-scale formation was meticulously planned, with each participant positioned at specific points to accurately shape the symbol.

The initiative was aimed at spreading a message of peace, harmony, and global brotherhood.
