Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, June 17 -- The historic courtyard of Bibi Ka Maqbara will serve as the focal point for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district's main International Yoga Day observance this Saturday, district officials announced on Tuesday.
District Collector Dilip Swami issued a public appeal, urging local yoga institutions and fitness-conscious citizens to participate in large numbers for the event, scheduled to commence at 6:30 am.
The venue selection follows directives from the Union Ministry of AYUSH and the Ministry of Culture, which specifically encouraged organizing this year's Yoga Day celebrations at sites of historical significance. Accordingly, the iconic Mughal-era monument in the city was chosen.
