Nagpur, Dec. 10 -- Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis today said in the Legislative Council that the State government will introduce in phase-wise manner the 'body worn cameras' for Traffic police who have the authority to impose challans.
This was informed by Fadnavis in the upper house to a query by MLCs Sunil Shinde, Shashikant Shinde, Satej Patil, Sachin Ahir, Anil Parab, Pravin Darekar and Bhai Jagtap during the question hour, who questioned about the traffic police action.
To this, Fadnavis informed that the government in phase-wise manner will work on bringing 'body worn cameras' for Traffic police who have the authority to impose challans on the lines of Goa.
