Mumbai, Nov. 3 -- Maharashtra Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has undergone successful heart surgery at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, with medical authorities confirming that his condition is stable following the procedure.
The cardiac operation was performed under the supervision of renowned cardiologist Dr Ramakant Panda. Doctors have advised the minister to remain on complete rest for several days to ensure proper recovery.
According to a statement issued by Bhujbal's office, the minister will not be meeting visitors during the early phase of his recuperation, as instructed by his medical team.
