Prayagraj, Feb. 18 -- As rumours regarding the extension of Maha Kumbh fair till March due to
the massive crowd circulate on social media, the Prayagraj District Magistrate Ravindra Mandar on Tuesday categorically dismissed the claims, calling them baseless.
Mandar clarified that the Maha Kumbh follows a predetermined schedule based on auspicious timings and the fair will conclude as planned on February 26.
"The administration ensures the smooth movement of all devotees until the event's conclusion," he said.
Addressing the misinformation, the DM emphasised that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directives, all necessary arrangements for devotees' convenience are being closely monitored.
