Maha govt to invest Rs 5K crore every year in agriculture sector: CM
Hingoli, May 29 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Thursday that the state government has undertaken the task of making a big change in agriculture by investing Rs 5,000 crore per year in agriculture sector.
Speaking on occasion of inaugurating various developmental works in the district, he said, "We are giving the benefit of the Solar Agricultural Pump Scheme to whoever asks for it. Through the Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Scheme, we have tried to increase the productivity of agriculture by investing in the agriculture sector in 5,000 villages of Marathwada and Western Vidarbha with the help of the World Bank.
