Mumbai, July 24 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday said that the state government will hire the services of the top lawyer in the Supreme Court during the hearing of an appeal against the acquittal of 12 accused in the 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombing case and their release.
" We are of the view that those involved in the (7/11) incident must be punished, but the innocent should not be troubled," Pawar said.
