Mumbai, March 21 -- The Maharashtra government has ordered an inquiry into the transfer of Land Development Rights (TDR) at Mauje Gawdevi under Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation, a minister said on Friday.
In the case of 'TDR' misappropriation of the land, punitive action is being taken to recover Rs 7 crores, Minister Uday Samant told the Assembly during Question Hour.
MLA Kisan Kathore raised THE question regarding the transfer of land development rights within Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation limits.
Samant said action has been taken against two talhats in this case of malpractice. A case has also been registered and further investigation is going on through Vishnu Nagar Police. UNI SP SSP
