Mumbai, Oct. 30 -- Maharashtra State Congress Committee President Harshvardhan Sapkal today demanded that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) must be formed and a probe must be conducted under the supervision of a High Court judge into the suicide of doctor Sampada Munde, a young physician from Beed district, after unbearable pressure and harassment allegedly by former BJP MP Ranjitsinh Naik- Nimbalkar.
"Former BJP MP Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar must be immediately arrested, The Congress will organise protests all over the state," Sapkal said after he visited the family of doctor Sampada Munde in Kavdagav, Beed district, today to offer his condolences.
