Nagpur, Aug. 10 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching the Nagpur-Pune Vande Bharat Express, stating it would significantly boost Vidarbha's connectivity with Pune.

Fadnavis noted that this service would be the longest-running Vande Bharat in the country to date, covering 881 km in 12 hours with stoppages at major stations. The train will enhance connectivity between Vidarbha, North Maharashtra, and Pune, he said.

Prime Minister Modi flagged off three Vande Bharat Express trains in Bengaluru today. While the Bengaluru-Belagavi service was inaugurated in person, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Amritsar and Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune services were launched virtually....
