Nagpur, Aug. 24 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday inaugurated the country's first Smart and Intelligent village at Satnavari in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, marking the launch of a major rural development initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Fadnavis said the state government will soon roll out a program to develop 10 smart and intelligent villages in every taluka, covering nearly 3,500 villages in the first phase.

"Through advanced technology, we are providing healthcare, education, smart irrigation, telemedicine, and digital services at one place. Satnavari has now become a role model for the country," he stated.
