Nashik, Nov. 13 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday laid the foundation stone of the Ramkal Path - envisioned as a cultural and spiritual corridor connecting some sites depicted in the epic Ramayana - being constructed in Ramkund and its vicinity in Nashik district at an expense of Rs 99.14 crore.

The project, set to come up under the 'Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment' scheme through the union Ministry of Tourism, is projected to connect mythological sites across Panchavati - from Sita Gufa and Kalaram Temple to the ghats along the Godavari and Ramkund.
