Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- Marking the beginning of festive travel ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today flagged off the first Ganpati Special train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Sawantwadi in Konkan region of the state.
In a post on X, CM office shared a video of him waving to passengers at CSMT as the train departed. On the occasion senior BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mumbai president Amit Satam , speaker Rahul Narwekar and other BJP leaders were also present.
