Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- The Maharashtra Cabinet today took eight major decisions in a meeting, including the approval of a new Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) Policy and a key expressway project.
The newly announced AVGC-XR Policy, with an outlay of approximately Rs 3,268 crore, will extend up to the year 2050.
In a move to boost infrastructure, the Cabinet approved a 94-km access-controlled expressway between Bhandara and Gadchiroli. The project, with a total expenditure of Rs 931.15 crore, will be built by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. Approval was also granted for project planning and land acquisition.
