Buldhana, Nov. 19 -- Maharashtra Congress president Harshwardhan Sapkal on Wednesday claimed that Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has become "increasingly isolated" within the ruling Mahayuti alliance and should walk out of the government rather than endure humiliation for the sake of power.
Sapkal made the remarks while speaking to reporters in Buldhana in the Vidarbha region, after campaigning for Congress candidates ahead of the December 2 local body elections.
His comments came a day after all Shiv Sena ministers except Shinde skipped the Devendra Fadnavis-led state cabinet meeting in protest against the BJP's alleged induction of Shiv Sena leaders and workers in various parts of the state.
