Mumbai, Nov. 20 -- BJP minister Ashish Shelar on Thursday strongly objected to a recent decision taken by the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) to entrust a major responsibility in election management to senior leader Nawab Malik who is facing money laundering charges and allegedly has D-company links.

Shelar stated that if the Ajit Pawar-led NCP remains firm on its stand, then the NCP and the Pawar faction should not be part of the alliance with the BJP for the upcoming BMC elections.
