Mumbai, Sept. 11 -- The Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress today announced a firm resolve to fight against vote theft and confusion in the voters' list, stating that the struggle is essential to strengthen democracy.
At a two-day executive meeting here, the organisation announced that its workers would check the voters' list at the booth level in every assembly constituency over the next month. They will collect necessary information and then plan their next strategy.
Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress President Shivraj More said the state Youth Congress had undertaken the task of strengthening the organisation at the booth level and would fight the government on youth-related issues.
