Jalgaon, May 20 -- Two people riding on a two-wheeler were killed on the spot and as many injured after a State Road Transport Corporation bus smashed their two-wheeler at Swastik Talkies in Chpada town of the district on Tuesday.
According to police, the accident occurred as the brakes of an ST bus failed suddenly, as a result, it first crushed a two-wheeler and then hit an autorickshaw.
In this accident, the two-wheeler riders were killed on the spot and two others were seriously injured.
The injured have been shifted to Chopda Sub-District Hospital and a private hospital for treatment.
Police rushed to the spot and are carrying on further investigation in this incident.
