Kolhapur / Ratnagiri, June 8 -- Twenty passengers were seriously injured after a speeding gas tanker collided head-on with a mini bus in Nivali Ghat section of Mumbai-Goa national highway in Ratnagiri district on Sunday.
According to police, a speeding LPG gas tanker collided head-on with a mini bus in Nivali Ghat section.
Due to impact of collision, the gas from the tanker leaked while the mini bus crashed in a deep vally.
In this incident, 20 passengers from mini bus were seriously injured.
They were admitted to the Ratnagiri civil hospital for treatment.
Further investigation is on, sources added.
