Nagpur, Oct. 24 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that upgraded cancer hospitals and comprehensive treatment centres will be established across all districts of the state to strengthen cancer prevention and care.

Speaking in Nagpur, Fadnavis said that each district will have facilities for cancer diagnosis, day-care, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy.

In Nagpur, an advanced cancer hospital will be developed at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), while the incomplete structure of the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Cancer Hospital will receive government funding for completion and modernisation.
