Mumbai, May 13 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) has taken a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, arguing that "things that can be won by fighting cannot be achieved by chasing".

"The Indian Army sacrificed its heroes in the war, civilians lost their lives, but what did they get? Why were the Pakistanis left alive...? This is the question that Veer Savarkar's soul must be asking. Savarkar's dream of a unified Hindu nation would have been realised by now. Modi and his people have missed this opportunity," said an editorial in 'Samana', the party mouthpiece of Shiv Sena (UBT) on Tuesday.
