Mumbai, March 28 -- The city police have heightened security following a social media post warning of possible Hindu-Muslim riots, arson and bomb blasts in minority-dominated area Dongri in south Mumbai during Ramzan Eid festival, sources said on Friday.
The post, which surfaced on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), alleged that illegal Rohingya,
Bangladeshi and Pakistani infiltrators might be involved in inciting violence.
The post, tagging the Navi Mumbai Police's official X account, wrote: "Mumbai Police should remain vigilant. During Eid on March 31-April 1, 2025, some illegal Rohingya / Bangladeshi / Pakistani infiltrators residing in areas like Dongri may incite Hindu-Muslim riots, arson, and bomb blasts!."
