Mumbai, April 15 -- YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and comedian Samay Raina on Tuesday appeared before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell in Mumbai in connection with the India's Got Latent row.
According to the sources, police had issued multiple summons to Ranveer Allahbadia but he failed to appear.
Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia facing multiple FIRs (first information reports) for his offensive remarks on YouTube show 'India's Got Latent' was granted interim protection from arrest on February 18 by the Supreme Court.
It may be recalled that during an episode of India's Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina, Allahbadia had made a crude joke that caught attention for being offensive.
