Mumbai, March 14 -- In a surprising development on occasion of Holi festival, the opposition Congress party in Maharashtra on Friday made a prospective offer of the Chief Minister's post to the two Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, who have been jockeying for position for a while after the assembly election.
While making this offer, senior Congress leader and MLA Nana Patole said that both Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar should remain vigilant.
While wishing these two leaders on Holi, Patole said, "We are with them. We are taking a stand regarding their security. They should come to us. We will support them."
