Mumbai, Feb. 8 -- A special court has issued a non-bailable warrant against senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Eknath Khadse and his wife in connection with the Bhosari land plot scam, after they failed to appear for the hearing.
In the same case, the court has also rejected the bail application of Khadse's son-in-law, who is currently under arrest.
Khadse had filed an application seeking discharge from the case related to the Bhosari land deal. However, the special PMLA court dismissed the plea. The case involves allegations of financial irregularities against Eknath Khadse, his wife Mandakini and his son-in-law Girish Chaudhary.
