Mumbai, June 8 -- Responding to NCP MLA Amul Mutkari's suggestion for a pre-election alliance involving herself and her cousin Ajit Pawar, party working president and MP Supriya Sule on Sunday acknowledged their sibling bond and appreciated the sentiment but clarified that the ultimate decision on alliance will be made by party president Sharad Pawar.
Talking to reporters in Baramati, she said, "Ajit Pawar and I have been siblings since childhood, and I value Mutkari's wish. However, decisions about who contests where are not mine to make. The party will decide. We all respect Pawar sahib's political wisdom, and whatever decision he takes is democratic. I will consult party workers and deliberate accordingly."
