Nashik, Dec. 31 -- A political drama was witnessed on the last date of filing of election applications (the AB form) here today.
Today being the last date for filing of election applications, the interested workers of each party were expected to receive the AB form, but since that did not happen, anger was seen among the candidates. A big ruckus erupted in Nashik in afternoon, when some interested candidates chased the vehicle carrying the AB form. It was also reported that some interested candidates allegedly vandalized a farmhouse.
With only an hour left to file nomination papers, the AB form was being distributed. Many interested candidates were upset after not receiving the AB form.
