Mumbai, Feb. 22 -- The city police on Saturday arrested musician Pritam Chakraborty's office boy in a case of alleged theft of Rs 40 lakh from the music director's office.
The accused, identified as Ashish Bootiram Sayal, was arrested from Jammu and Kashmir by the Malad Police.
Police have recovered 95 percent of the stolen cash while he had purchased a new mobile phone and other electronic items from stolen money, which was also recovered while the accused was arrested.
Sayal (32) had been working as an office boy at Pritam Chakraborty's studio for over nine years.
