Mumbai, June 24 -- A sessions court here has rejected anticipatory bail application of a man apprehending arrest in a case registered against him for allegedly sharing an objectionable post against Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a lawyer said here on Tuesday.
Additional Sessions Judge Prashant C Kale in its order on June 21 held that no case was made out for pre-arrest bail considering the nature of offence against applicant.
An FIR (first information report) was registered against Pune resident Santosh Ramchandra Darekar by Cyber Cell nodal office for sharing the post, following a complaint made by BJP leader Yojna Virendra Thokle alleging that Darekar shared an objectionable post on Facebook against Fadnavis on May 23.
