Parbhani, Jan. 11 -- Three persons were killed in a serious road accident on the Parbhani-Jintur road in Maharashtra's Parbhani district today after a motorcycle collided head-on with a car near the Lower Dudhana Left Canal, police said.
According to Parbhani Rural Police, the deceased were residents of Bordi village who had travelled to Pimpala village to attend a programme. The trio was returning to Bordi on a motorcycle today morning when the accident occurred.
Police officer Shankar Hekhe, who is investigating the case, said that as the motorcycle reached the Lower Dudhana Left Canal area, it was hit forcefully by a car coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision left all three motorcycle riders critically injured....
