Mumbai, Aug. 18 -- A number of office-bearers from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Workers' Union joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here today.
BJP state president Ravindra Chavan formally welcomed them at the party's state headquarters. Senior leaders, including Suhas Mate, Yogesh Awale, Govind Gaikwad, Vinod Panagile, and Ajay Gamre, were present at the induction ceremony.
Yogesh Awale and Virendra Thakar were felicitated by Chavan for their appointment to the Wage Advisory Board.
Speaking at the event, Chavan said the new entrants had placed their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
