Mumbai, Aug. 20 -- While leading rescue efforts amidst the floods in the Vasai-Virar region here in Maharashtra, the area MLA Sneha Dubey Pandit today saved a pregnant woman who later gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
The MLA swiftly responded to an emergency when an auto-rickshaw carrying pregnant Sarika from Nirmal Malai Pada to the hospital became stranded on the flooded road.
Sneha immediately reached the spot with her support team and facilitated the woman's transfer to Sir D M Petit Hospital, where she successfully delivered a baby girl. Both mother and child remain in good health.
