Mumbai, June 4 -- Maharashtra Environment Minister Pankaja Munde on Wednasday expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the Loknete Gopinath Munde Sugarcane Workers Welfare Corporation, urging for improved efficiency in delivering benefits to sugarcane cutters.

She made these remarks while speaking to reporters before leaving for the memorial of her late father, Gopinath Munde, in Beed district to pay tributes on his death anniversary.

Ms Munde revealed that she has already discussed the matter with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who has assured her that positive steps will be taken.
