Kolhapur, June 28 -- Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar visited the Lakshmi Vilas Palace, the birthplace of former ruler of the princely state Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, here on occasion of his 151st birth anniversary today and paid homage to him.
He was accompanied by MLA Amal Mahadik.
Later, while interacting with media, he said that a meeting will be held soon to discuss the problems at the place and an ideal birthplace of the former ruler will be inaugurated soon.
He assured that there will be no shortage of funds required for upgradation of the place.
