Nashik, Jan. 31 -- A couple was killed on the spot, and three people were seriously injured when a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler collided head-on in Maharashtra's Nashik district, police said on Friday.
The incident occurred near the Pimperkhed toll booth on the Nandgaon-Chalisgaon road in Nandgaon taluka on Thursday evening.
According to the police, both vehicles fell into a roadside drain in the impact of the collision.
The victims were rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared a 45-year-old man and his wife dead. Three others sustained injuries and are under treatment. UNI RDS SSP
