Aurangabad, Nov. 29 -- The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 39 fresh COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths were reported due to the virus during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Monday.

The district headquarters report stated that of eight districts in the region, Aurangabad district was the worst-affected with 11 cases and 2 deaths, followed by Jalna with 3 cases and single death, Beed with 2 cases and single death, Latur with 13 cases, Nanded with 7 cases, Hingoli had 2 cases , Osmanabad with single case and Parbhani nil, they added.

Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 832 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 66,34,444.

The state also registered 33 more deaths...
