Maha: Leaders gather at Ambedkar statue to oppose legislation in Nanded

Nanded (Maharashtra), Sept. 10 -- A protest was held in front of the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar here today by the Mahavikas Aghadi against the Public Safety Bill.

Leaders, office bearers and activists of Mahavikas Aghadi gathered from across the district for this demonstration opposing the recently introduced legislation.

South Nanded Congress District President Hanumantrao Betmogrekar, North Nanded Congress District President Rajesh Pavde, City Congress President Abdul Sattar, and Congress State General Secretary Rapanwar Surendra Ghodjakar along with all leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi guided the protest proceedings. The leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi delivered aggressive speeches against the government during the demonstration.
