Mumbai, Jan. 6 -- Shiv Sena (Shinde) leaders launched a sharp attack on the rival Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction today, accusing it of spreading misinformation and engaging in irresponsible politics ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.

The party also outlined a development blueprint for the city.

At a press conference here in presence of Shiv Sena national spokesperson Shaina N.C., former minister and MLA Deepak Kesarkar expressed strong disapproval of the statements made by UBT leaders. He stated that leaders from the faction were engaged in defaming Maharashtra because they lacked any substantive development agenda.
