Kolhapur, March 30 -- The district and sessions court here on Sunday sent journalist Prashant Koratkar, who allegedly threatened city-based historian Indrajeet Sawant, to judicial custody for 14 days.
Upon expiry of five days police custody today, the city police produced accused Koratkar before the court via video link today in the wake of two attempted attacks on him in court premises.
After hearing arguments of lawyers of both sides, the holiday court judge sent Koratkar to judicial custody for 14 days.
Then, Koratkar's lawyer Saurabh Ghag immediately applied for bail, but the court rejected the application saying it was necessary to put statements of police and public prosecutor on bail application and posted the hearing on his bail ...
