Mumbai, April 28 -- Four people were injured after a fire broke out at a bakery in Byculla area of south Mumbai, officials said on Monday.
According to sources in Fire Brigade, the incident occurred at 5.30 pm at Super Bakery, located on Seth Motishah Lane in Byculla (East).
The fire was confined within the bakery premises and was brought under control and fully extinguished by 6.40 pm, they said.
Four people sustained burn injuries in the incident.
They were identified as Jayesh Parekh (46), Zuber Siddique (25), Jibrail Ahmed (23) and Shahariyar Reisi (36).
The injured were shifted to private Bhatia and Masina Hospitals for medical treatment, while their condition is reported to be stable, the officials added.
