Nagpur, Sept. 16 -- A video from Maharashtra's Nagpur showing an under-construction flyover cutting through the balcony of a residential building has gone viral on social media, raising questions over urban planning.

An official of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) today clarified that the balcony falls under an encroached area and the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has been asked to remove it.

The incident pertains to the Indora-Dighori flyover near Ashok Square. Videos circulating online show a rotary beam of the structure slicing past a balcony of the building.
